Trust in the Lord Forever: Insights from Isaiah 26:4

It can be difficult at times to patiently cling onto God who promises to come through for us.

• Maybe it is a dream of yours, a promise, situation you're facing, or waiting for a prayer to be answered.

Isaiah was a prophet to the leaders of Judah during a time of national corruption and spiritual destruction.

• He foretold a time where people would be dragged into exile as they were trusting in idols, and not God

• He also reminded the people that God is sovereign, and He would bring them out of exile and send a savior to rescue them forever.

Isaiah held onto hope that he prophesied about…

• Trust in the Lord even when you are hurting.

• Trust in the Lord even when you are misunderstood.

• Trust in the Lord even when your heart is breaking.

NO MATTER WHAT YOU CAN TRUST IN THE LORD!!

Seasons may shift, situations may change, people may abandon, desert, or betray you, but the one who remains constant throughout all of history is God.

• The Lord is UNCHANGING and IMMOVABLE.

• Nothing can stand against or overcome Him.

He knows what it’s like to suffer because He suffered for us.

• Trust in God because He always keeps His promises.

Since God is our salvation, we can trust in Him and NOT be afraid.
